			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><br /><p>This site contains most, but not all, of the book <strong><em>Disruptive Ideas - 10+10+10=1000: the maths of Viral Change that transform organisations.</em></strong></p>
<p>I&#8217;ve done this so I could invite all managers and/or leaders in any organisation to provide some feedback on these ideas, new input and basically to co-write the second edition of the book. I would really like to learn from your experiences.</p>
<p>The possibilities to contribute are endless. For example:</p>
<ul>
<li>You can improve the list of examples within a disruptive idea.</li>
<li>You can give examples of how something actually worked for you or how it didn&#8217;t.</li>
<li>You can give recommendations for the implementation of ideas.</li>
<li>You can make suggestions on how you can spread the disruptive idea(s) virally.</li>
<li>You can highlight a combination that has worked for you or that you think would be particularly powerful.</li>
<li>You can make comments on the main text.</li>
<li>You can describe the kind of organisation that would be/was created by applying a particular disruptive idea or several ideas.</li>
<li>You can explain how you have sponsored or plan to sponsor (a) particular idea(s).</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Simply click on the chapter(s) that you wish to comment on or add information to and you&#8217;ll be able to enter your contribution at the bottom of the page.</strong></p>
<p>I can&#8217;t promise that all the comments will be published in the next edition of the book, but if they are, they&#8217;ll only be used with your permission and you&#8217;ll be given proper credit.</p>
<p>The book will be reviewed once or twice a year, so you won&#8217;t have to wait years before you&#8217;ll see your contribution in print!  This website will be updated once the date for the next edition has been determined and what the cut-off will be for that edition.</p>
<p>One thing&#8217;s for sure: every new edition will be better than the previous one!</p>

<h2><strong>What are disruptive (management) ideas?</strong></h2>
<p>Disruptive ideas provide management alternatives that, if spread, can completely transform the way the organisation works without the need for a massive ‘change management programme&#8217;. Each of them in its own right has the potential to create significant change, but the compound benefit of a few of them is a real engine of change and business transformation.</p>
<p>Disruptive Ideas:</p>
<ol>
<li>are simple</li>
<li>have a total disproportion between their simplicity and the significant impact in the life of organizations</li>
<li>can be implemented now</li>
<li>have zero cost or are cheap to implement</li>
<li>are most likely to be contrarian</li>
<li>are most likely to be counterintuitive</li>
<li>have a high risk of being trivialised or dismissed</li>
<li>can spread virally very easily, as soon as some people implement them</li>
</ol>
